The person who nominated Kevin says she did so because “he is a fearless leader. He has successfully led a team/staff at the Boys and Girls Club of Portage County since 2002 and although the seasons have changed, he has remained constant and committed to the kids in our community. As a boss, he leads by example as a hard worker who isn't afraid to do any job. He is wise and thoughtful in the way he leads the organization. Our community is better because of him. He is humble and has the best interests of his team and our local kids in mind. I only hope to be half the leader he is one day.”
Kevin is from the Green Bay area originally. He attended the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater to pursue teaching. Shortly after graduation he landed a job at the Boys and Girls Club in Green Bay, where he worked for three years and then was offered a promotion at the Wausau BGC where he worked another three years.
