Our community is defined by its people.

We are telling the story of our community to each other and to the world, one person at a time. What makes Portage County so special?

Here at NextHome Priority we would argue its the people- the "hidden heroes" of our great little area of the world. So, we've come up with a special way to honor the people here who make a difference in BIG and small ways. People of Portage County isn't about just getting another award it is about sharing stories so others are inspired and look to make their dreams a reality too.

We invite you to take a minute and read through the People of Portage County that have been identified so far and if you know someone who has a story that should be shared (maybe it's your neighborhood school crossing guard, school custodian, bus driver, a veteran you know, your mother or father, one of your employees, a child who does lemonade stands to raise money for victims of disasters...) please nominate them on the "nominate" page.
